District One EMS Council is comprised of Hospital and Prehospital providers in the Northwest Florida Panhandle. District One consists of Escambia, Santa Rosa, Okaloosa, and Walton Counties. District One has two Level II Trauma Centers, and one Level II Pediatric Trauma Center in its membership. We also have two Helicopter programs,EMS providers, and Fire Based ALS providers. Our District is also represented by a Level 1 Disaster Medical Assistance Team (FL-1)
