Review various splint application techniques.
Discuss and review indications for ECMO in the trauma population, reviewing indications, contraindications, risks, benefits, and outcomes.
Review of high energy trauma and scene management for spinal and trauma patients.
Discuss the importance of multidisciplinary collaboration during an MCI event.
Participants will be able to better understand human trafficking by being aware of types, venues, and dynamics of human trafficking (both sex and labor) and understand it’s scope in the United States and Florida.
Participants will understand the importance of using a trauma informed approach when screening victims of human trafficking and be able to describe assessment tools and strategies that can be used in clinical settings to identify human trafficking victims.
